[TTA-Nashville] Opportunities that didn't make the November TTA newsletter

Hello, everyone, I hope you're planning to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather over the next several weeks.  In addition to all the hikes in the November newsletter, we've gotten word about a couple of events that didn't make the deadline.  So, here they are  - one next Saturday, Nov. 8, and one on Saturday, Nov. 15:

Sat, Nov 8 - - -  A 3-hour Fall Cruise on Center Hill Lake. This is an annual fundraising event by the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park, and space is limited (it sells out each year and I think the space is limited to 30 people). People that have pre-registered will meet at 1:00pm at the Marina at EESP. Pre-registration is due ASAP to Fount Bertram:  fwbertram at dtccom.net and 615-765-5357. Costs are $10 per adult, and $5 per child 12 years and under. 
Sat, Nov 15 - - - This is a multi-chapter event: Nature Hike and Light Trail Work. The group will meet at 9:00a at the Edgar Evins State Park visitor's center. The hike is approx 4-5 miles, rated easy to moderate. The trail work is easy/light. The hike will be led by Randy Hedgepath (which is guaranteed to be extremely interesting and educational). Depending on the pre-registration numbers Edgar Evins SP may serve lunch (FREE!). However, to do this, they will need a headcount.
