[TTA-Nashville] Transportation offer for Sat. work/hike at Edgar Evins State Park

Hello, everyone.   

Nashville TTA member John Tirrill has made a generous offer to drive his van to  the work/hike event at Edgar Evins State Park this coming Saturday, Nov. 16.  He has room for a total of five more people.  It'll be first come, first serve, so give John a call at 532-4454 or e-mail him at njtirrill at bellsouth.net.  The event starts at 9 a.m. at Edgar Evins; John will tell you when he's planning to leave and where he will meet riders.  

Thanks, John, for being willing to drive, as well as to work and hike.    

On another matter, TTA Nashville has a nominating committee looking for a new chapter chair and a program chairperson.  Please think about commiting some time to TTA in one of these roles and let me know of your interest.  Or, you may contact the committee directly.  Elizabeth Gerlock, Sue Lefferts, and Jenice Johnson are the committe and would appreciate some suggestions.  

And don't forget to mark your calendar for Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m., when Libby Francis will bring us a travelogue of her recent adventures in Arizona.  Plan on staying afterward to socialize and enjoy some light refreshments.  We did some serious hike planning at our October meeting, with several dates already set well linto spring - come hear more about it and see what spots are left that you can fill in with your own hike choices!
