[Tennessee Trails News] TDEC announces Public Hearings on State Recreation Plan.

Please encourage all TTA members and friends to attend the public
hearings on the new state recreation plan. They're scheduled as follows:

Knoxville: July 27, Knoxville / Knox City-County Building, Small
Assembly Room, 400 Main Street, 6:30 p.m.

Memphis: July 28, Arlington Town Hall, 5854 Airline Road, 6:30 p.m.

Nashville: July 29, Goodlettsville City Hall, 105 South Main Street,
6:30 p.m

This is a great opportunity for TTA members and other hikers to have a
say in Tennessee's policies for the next ten years in areas such as
local recreation, conservation, water quality, environmental education,
quality growth, and state parks management.
